Both treacherous and transfixing, Crystal planets are known catalysts of transformation. Local life are highly intelligent extremophiles that dwell in underground caves, where they benefit from natural protection against the planets’ hostile weather phenomena. Their advanced technology and abilities allow for exploration of even the worlds’ most inhospitable locations.
With nearly constant volcanic activity, these planets are marked by an abundance of crystals unlike that of any other planet type. Some regions contain crystals as large as the ancient Redwoods of Earth, so densely formed that they are referred to as forests.
